Sausage Tortellini Soup

10 Mar

There is nothing more comforting on a cold winter’s day than a hearty bowl of soup. I have been making this for two decades and it is still a family favorite. I am such a pinch of this and a dash of that kinda cook. So at the request of my family and friends I have written my recipe and I am so happy to share it with you all!

Christmas Eve Hot Cocoa

19 Dec

The Christmas Season is woven with traditions. Whether big or small they all bring a cherished sense of warmth and togetherness.

One of our traditions is to make hot cocoa on Christmas Eve morning and enjoy it throughout the day and evening.

It is simplified because it cooks and stays warn throughout the day in your slow cooker.

This is definitely a rich, chocolatey, special hot cocoa that is bound to become one of your holiday favorites!

Back to School Baked French Toast

26 Aug

Welcome to day 5!  I definitely saved the best for last!  This recipe comes from the Pioneer Woman.  As much as I wish this was my own recipe there is just no way that this recipe can be improved….it’s scrumptious perfection!  It’s a little indulgent, but after that first whirlwind week of back to school we all deserve a little treat. This will easily become a family favorite and it will make many appearances on your dining table!

Back to School Baked Oatmeal Muffins

23 Aug

Breakfast…here we go, Day two!  Sometimes, despite our best intentions, breakfast does happen in the back of the mini van.  When that happens, I am so grateful for these babies in my freezer.  They are yummy and minimally messy, amen!

This recipe makes about two dozen, whips up in a hot minute, and best of all you can personalize each of them to suit everyone in the family all at the same time…that is something to be excited about it!

What is your favorite on the go food?  Let me know down below.
